How I help

Approaches:

I use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness‑informed techniques to support emotional and physical wellbeing.

Focus Areas:

Together we explore thoughts, emotions, behaviours and physical symptoms, helping you understand patterns and build practical tools for daily life.

How We Work

Therapy is collaborative and paced to your needs — compassionate, supportive and grounded in evidence‑based approaches.

About me

I’m Dr Anna Baker, a Practitioner Psychologist and Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with over 15 years’ of experience, supporting emotional and physical wellbeing. I’ve worked across the NHS, private practice and the charity sector, helping people make sense of what they’re going through and build practical tools that support long‑term change.

My approach is warm, collaborative and grounded in evidence‑based techniques. I take a holistic view of how emotional and physical health interact, and work with you to understand patterns, reduce overwhelm and move forward in a way that feels manageable and meaningful.

What to Expect

Therapy offers a confidential space to explore what’s been difficult, understand what’s keeping things going, and build strategies that support long‑term wellbeing. Sessions are 50 minutes and available online or in person.

Consultancy & Training

Alongside my clinical work, I also provide consultancy, workshops and training for organisations in wellbeing, health psychology and behaviour change.
