My values

I am passionate about allowing you to focus and have the opportunity to have a healthy mind and body. My interest has come about from years of working in improving emotional well-being and also working in physical health prevention and management. I have seen that emotional or physical health problems rarely occur on their own, often influencing each other which can make it more challenging. This has led to me taking a holistic viewpoint of providing support to allow you to feel good about yourself whilst focusing on your long-term well-being.

My passion comes from seeing a lack of support and resources available focused on individual needs. Whether this be managing stresses at work or home, or dealing with the day-to-day challenges in the menopause or having a long-term condition, I can help you to make change.

How I work?

I work using different therapeutic and behaviour change techniques including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness. Together, we explore how to make things work and find a focus for change.

Listening to your priorities and needs, I use evidence based therapeutic techniques that are relevant and work with my clients. Key is supporting you to develop your own expertise in managing your emotional and physical health issues.

Experience

I am a Practitioner Health Psychologist and Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with over 15 years of experience in emotional and physical health issues. Working collaboratively with clients to identify their priorities and relevant solutions to overcome these. I have worked in the NHS, private and charity sectors developing strategies, programmes and support for individuals and groups.

Working on emotional and physical health issues together means that I can support clients to get the most out of therapy. Helping you to take charge of your thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
